Billing FAQ.
What counts as a request?
Each call to /v1/analyze, /v1/chat, or /v1/agents/{id}/invoke counts as one request. Health checks and Studio's playground (when authenticated as you, not via an API key) do not count.
What happens at the rate limit?
We return 429 with Retry-After and a plain-English message. Daily limits reset at midnight UTC; per-minute limits reset at the next clock minute. No silent throttling, no surprise charges.
Can I switch plans?
Yes, any time. Upgrades take effect immediately and prorate the current period. Downgrades take effect at the end of the current period — you keep what you paid for.
Annual billing?
Annual is cheaper by roughly two months. We'll bill you once a year and renew automatically. You can switch back to monthly at the next renewal.
VAT and invoices?
Prices shown are excluding VAT. UK VAT and EU reverse-charge VAT are calculated at checkout. We email an invoice immediately after payment; reissues are free.
What happens to my data if I cancel?
Your traces, agents, and instructions remain accessible for 30 days after cancellation, then are hard-deleted. Or email privacy@beyond-the-box.uk to delete sooner.
A note on Stripe.
Stripe is wired up but live keys aren't connected yet. If you click "Subscribe" before that lands you'll see a clear "Stripe not configured" error rather than a crash. Hold tight; we'd rather get this right than rush it.
